Less than 150gbp overall for this frankenbuikd that I just love. Frame was free out of a skip, the rest I got secondhand or were in a parts bin (the best was the deore rear wheel I got from my local tip for 5gbp with a single speed kit fitted). More expensive things were the Ritchey Kyote bars (cut down to 690mm) and the Planet X fork I got almost a decade ago on their site during the sale for around 40gbp.

I am playing with the idea of slapping my deore groupset on it but I just love single speeds

  1. Have an alumi kona in the garage that’ll probably be less than £150 after I’m done. It’ll have cantis instead of the original v-brakes cause I can’t be bothered putting the lovely XT ones onto this rat build lol. Poor Kona’s getting abused this month.

If you are referencing the cheap bike build off. Go checkout max the mullet mechanic on ig or YouTube. Cause there are rules you have to follow.

You still gotta price out the parts that you got for free or in your parts bin this year, unfortunately.
