    i’ve never seen any failure like that tbh, though the clamp looks corroded maybe? the green-ish residue there, could be caused by sweat.

  3. What saddle did you have mounted? IIRC this gen of clamp is very specific about rail diameter and shape

  4. Did you use a torque wrench to tighten the bolt to 16Nm or did you tighten that bold down so hard you deformed and compromised the metal?

  5. Now you made me anxious about my Domane with identical seatpost. I despise this design… Although I used a friction paste / “assembly compound” to avoid overtightening the screw.
