Come along for an epic e-mountain bike ride on Dumyat Hill, Scotland, with the DJI Flip Drone tracking me in fully autonomous “Follow Me” mode! While it’s not completely perfect, it does a fantastic job of keeping up and capturing some great footage. As an all-rounder, it’s an excellent choice—especially considering it’s much cheaper than the HoverAir Pro Max.
This video was also filmed using the DJI Action 5 Pro for extra perspectives. Interestingly, I seem to have changed the camera settings halfway through the video—completely unplanned! See if you can spot the difference.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments! Would you trust a drone to follow you on a ride like this?

Good vid, again I like the two camera application. The video quality between the two cameras is worlds appart, your chest camera wins hands down. Did you apply color grading to the footage from the chest camera? OK granted, you put the Flip through its paces, but under open space conditions. No trees, or bushes to tend with. Would be interesting to see how it fares in a forest or wooded area. I am a cyclist, I have the Neo. Considering buying the Flip. All in all, great video, Thanks….
Wow… that trial is narly but looks fun! Great video footage… here In the US some of the trial I ride has trees and I wonder how it will do… 🤔
