Gravel + ebike is my new favorite combo

I've done road biking and mountain biking, and some gravel biking/cyclocross, but never really stuck with anything that long. Road biking was boring, I sucked at mtb / didn't really want to push into "harder" riding after a few crashes, and cyclocross/gravel was good, but couldn't get my wife into it. Enter our commuter ebikes. I slapped some 50mm tires on mine for comfort riding around town, but recently realized how well it handles gravel and dirt. It was tons of fun exploring the dirt roads at a local state park, and my wife enjoyed it with me! Her larger motor/fat tire class 3 bike was great for her comfort and my lightweight class 1 bike felt like a gravel bike on 'roids. Of course now it's got me wanting a proper gravel ebike…
