  1. Once I realized I couldn’t just have one drink I started to realize who I really was. I started realizing it’s not just alcohol, it’s the gym, coding, smoking trees, running, golf. When you have an addictive personality and you have talents is when things get interesting. Because your addiction with the bad will always take over the good. That’s why I just don’t touch any of it now. Funny thing is I was shy too in high school but once I joined the army I drank and was so outgoing, but that was just the alcohol. It’s crazy to go 20 years accomplishing different things , but never knowing who you are. That was me, but 16 months sober now and I’ll never touch any of that shit again . God bless you all 🤙🏽🙏

  2. Respect…..IF IT WAS ANYBODY ELSE …YOU HYPOCRITE HATERS would glaze in the comments …..weirdos are OBSESSED with hating Jon …he is successful and yall are BROKE and cant fight😅

  3. I once took a 6 month break and thought I could have one tall strong beer like a barley wine smoke chaser. Once I finished the 24oz beer, my body went auto pilot, went to the store and got a bottle of Jamison, I woke up on the floor in my bed room with the bottle half empty. I was like man, here we go again 😂

  4. For anyone who is sober or working on it. This is exactly what failed or fake sobriety sounds like. If you were an addict you will absolutely never have a healthy relationship with your vice.

  5. I’ve thought this about 6 or 7 times in the last 10 years. Works for a week and then right back to the chaos, and fear that I’ll never be able to stop again.

  6. Maybe he's not an alcoholic?

There ARE people that drink a LOT, because they like it, and can stop/start whenever. It's not always a genetic issue. I know both types, there is a clear difference.

  7. As a raging alcoholic, he just literally described my biggest hurdle. But as long as you're not having withdrawals, who cares, I guess? lol I feel like if he didn't have mma, he would have a serious drinking problem. Like, one that would hinder his ability to function.

  8. 5 years here and I still get tempted! Went to Cancun with my wife last summer and I said hey I can still drink in Mexico right? Started crying and asked myself why I felt like I needed it for so long. Lived that weekend warrior life for 20 years and had enough.

  9. Spartan deserves one don’t you think I’ll be more man any of you accept my brothers in faith and sisters women of Sparta can only make real men you looking at one was baptised there ❤🙏
