Something like this with a battery light would probably work well enough. I’m planning to do this in case I need to mount something on my handlebars that takes up a lot of room.

Be wary with carbon forks. I mounted a light there and the bounce from my handlebar bag cracked the boss from the carbon, which made the fork a deathtrap

I use the one by cateye. You may need their light, but they make very good ones. I have four.

Most dynamo light mount on the fork crown, you can do the same with a battery light.
