That said, there are few things you’re getting wrong. Clean base metals are as important in MIG as they are in TIG. MIG will draw that corrosion into the weldment and make inclusions. That’s part of what’s contributing to the spatter on what you’ve already welded.
Another thing that is important is immaculate fit up of the tubes prior to welding. The better the fit, the less weld material needed to join them. The less weld material, the less heat you impart into the workpiece. The less heat you impart, the less distortion will occur.
Keep practicing. Welding is a skill, and only one skill a fabricator needs.

I don’t understand what I see there. Where is the rear end going? What is the purpose of the KTM part? What is the product intended to be?
