You'll need 60g of carbs and hour on your TDF challenge. You'll be at a huge disadvantage if you can't handle carb drinks as you'll have to carry the equivalent in solid food. Also have a couple of emergency gels just in case. Variety will be key.
What I would give for 14C, it was 2C here today with a windchill of -3C😂It didn't stop me doing 100 miles though😉This has been a great little series, thats some serious climbing for 6 rides👍I have 48317 ft of elevation gain so far this year and you almost beat that in Calpe😂 Back to reality now then😉

They have Tim Hortons in Spain!! That is a Canadian restaurant, named after Tim Horton, a Canadian hockey player in the NHL. When i lived in Hamilton Ontario, I used to pass by the first restaurant opened in Canada. Unfortunately, it was sold to Wendy's and it has become an Americanized. But I don't care, because I don't eat that stuff. I enjoyed this series of videos. It is always interesting to see where other people go on bikes..

Hi Amy and Kyle, Great both of you got a week in the sunshine. A very good effort doing 700 miles in a week plus it was very hilly. Also enjoyed the podcast about Kyle and his life growing up. Kyle has done well in his life, and battled some very tough times. Great things are good now,and he has a fantastic partner in you Amy. I nearly did an apprenticeship in bricklaying, but did carpentry instead. Later I also worked for the NHS doing maintenance work,used to meet lots of people. Do like the weather better in Australia. Always looks so dull in the U K.,been here since 2004. Looking forward to watching your Tour de France cycle adventure. All the best Tim Melbourne Australia.

simple things pak aa couple of sandwiches with hagelslag that dutch chocolade and take fruit and so that you have always something dont eat it keep it with you in a sadle bag bag or tube bag been there don that hunger demolish a person en in the last half hour of the ride then use it that works for me
