I am looking for some help from those that might be more mechanically inclined than myself. I currently have a 2022 giant revolt advanced 3 and I am looking to switch to a 1x setup. I found a good deal on the new GRX 610 1×12 and I wondering if I will need any additional parts for the conversion other than a new free hub body?

So, you are switching from 2x to 1x and not 1x to 2x?
Everything else will fit. If you can’t get a new freehub body for your wheel and don’t want to purchase a new wheel, there should be 11-51 12 speed cassettes with an hg interface. Just in case you did not know that
You’ll also need the tools.
I am pretty much in the same place (I want to replace the grx400 with 1x). Looks like you are also in Canada, so you might have to pay some additional taxes too when importing that. My bike is an Alu one, so I am not sure if it would be better to just save for a new one
