Reddit deleted the text but looking to get my first road bike and was looking at something like this. It all looks good to me just the price is probably quite high considering RRP is 2300. Any thoughts/recommendations for entry level road bikes?

For 1600 you’d at least want hydraulic disk brakes

That’s a good bike that you can work on yourself without a lot of fuss. Talk them down by 10% if you can, but that bike could take you far.

It is on the expensive side. In the US this would be around 750-850 USD, ~1200-1400 AUD. Local markets can be different.
