Good morning everyone, I'm from Italy. I want to start my experience in the gravel world and I wanted to ask for advice on what Bike seems more suitable. In order in the photos there is a Octane One Gridd2 a 630€, Serious Gravix One at 550€, and kross esker 1.0 at 600€.
The description of octane reads: Carbon fork Novatec Jet Fly wheels FsA Vero Pro 172.5mm 36t crankset Shimano 105 shifter SRAM Apex front brake lever Juin Tech R1 hybrid hydraulic brakes.

The serious: the derailleur is shimano tiagra and the shifter tourney. the disc brakes are tektro.
And the Kross: aluminum – Shimano Claris r2000 gear – Tektro md c500 160 disc brakes – 40/8 tooth gear – 11/32.

I would be more oriented towards "comfort" or long journeys, what do you think? What would you choose?

Thanx,
Michele.

  1. Primos Dame has been getting a ton of traction for entry level bike. It’s actually one I’ve recommended to my brother in law to pick up just based off of reviews I’ve seen about it

  2. Out of these three, the Kross seems to be the better deal with Shimano drivetrain and top tube mounting ports. Also, having flat mounts for brakes, it’s easier to upgrade it. I have seen a ton of these around and people seem pretty happy with it. I am not a big fan of that angled top tube, but the color scheme is nice.
