Kosovo, a journey on my motorbike. There was always something about travelling to Kosovo. I was still determining what to expect. Haven heard very little about it after the Balkan war between 1998 and 1999. I didn’t know what to expect.
Taking the mountain roads from Montenegro, I was greeted by beautiful mountains and landscapes.
The people are amiable and helpful. Some speak German to me as a result of the German Flag on my Jacket.
But what struck me the most was the resilience to natural disasters. Just two days prior to my arrival in Kosovo, the region was hit by a flash flood. I didn’t know this otherwise. I would not have visited the area. They don’t need me there.
But little did I Know.

  1. Oh god you went to Pejaaaa, IM FROM PEJAAAA!!! Also its sad that you went at that time. The mountains areeee really beautiful but the city was undergoing a major change bcz of a POS city mayor whos been on for like 4 years, bro expropriated so many peoples houses for the smallessstttt prices, destroyed so many things including nature parts, and our house included that is over 200 years old, has a whole ass 4x4m wooden handcrafted ceiling and is in the very center for theeee smallest price. But overall hes a POS to the whole city and citizens. He destroyed so many places and things and lives. Also next time youre here for accomodation feel free to contact me and I can find you a place. And I can recomend you some places to eat and drink as well and chill. But thats if you ever come to Peja or Prishtina again.
