I was servicing my headset and somehow managed to chip off part of my quill stem wedge expander. I put it back and it seems to be holding in the steerer but am I at risk of cracking my steel steerer tube? Just wondering if I need to replace ASAP or if I can wait until the next time I service my headset or replace bar tape.
