I hope you've bagged a 312 entry, it's a cracking event, though you have to push on at the start to reach the cutoffs and miss the masses, then eventually, the enjoyment and pain are both equally beautiful.

I did this ride the opposite direction a pile of years back – Got the shuttle to bring me to Andratx and then rode home to Port de Pollensa, taking in the descent/climbs of Port des Canonges and Port Valdemossa in high 30 degrees in early deptmeber – it was a a hell of a ride. I've done the North – South way twice too, during the 312, which is something you'll definitely have to try getting into for next year, it's a big big day out – 4600m climbing in 312km, with 75% of that frontloaded. That MA10 has to be one of the best cycling roads in the world. The views, the surface, the climbing, the descents… did I mention the surface? Unbelievable Jeff.
