  1. Upper body should be in line with your front foot angle. This rider is much too angled like a skier. This reduces the strength and flexibility of the hips and knees, which are needed for better carving technique.
    He is carving though. But in the style of a hard boot forward stance setup, which he doesnt have.

  2. That is the definition of carving he’s just doing it on packed snow so you can only turn so much, also that guy is having the best time let him carve however he wants

  3. just look at the marks after him in the snow. if there is a line that is thicker in the apex of the turn and thinner between the apexes it means its a carve.

  4. Anything past a slide turn is effectively a carve turn so yeah. But who gives a fuck! Leave him alone! Bet he’s got a big old grin on his face with zero care for whether you think he’s carving or not
