Planning on doing the Mt Washington hillclimb in NH this August. 8ish miles, 5k feet of climbing. Avg grade is 12% with a few 20+% sections. There is a training ride where I can test my current setup but I feel like I'm going to want to change up the gearing. Should I? I also have a gravel bike but it's heavier, I just don't know if it makes sense to swap gearing just for this one ride on my main bike

I did a load of alp stuff on a 50-34 34-11 setup. 1-1 ratio is the best choice. I guess sram also does 36-11 cassettes. That’s even better.
