I agree, got my first gravel bike a couple of weeks ago, Scott Addict 30 Gravel.
Been riding only road bikes for last 13 years and I have to say the geometry really suits me, I have a bad back and it really feels like I can put a lot of power down. The frame is a 56cm and my roads are 57cm (Bianchi), that might be part of it.
Loving riding on the extra air of big bouncy tyres as well.
