Need to keep your bike inside, but still stay married? Find a corner somewhere, add some wooden slats to the wall to make it look nice, throw in a new sofa for good measure, and you might just get away with it. Caveat: bike needs a deep clean after every goddamn ride.

This looks really nice and tidy. But at some point that pillow is going to touch the drivetrain and… yeah. I’d probably fashion some plastic cover to drop over the chain/drivetrain to stop this. (Something out of corrugated plastic would probably work really well.
I see a kid’s toy in the picture. The little one is going to wrap fingers around that chain. Then rub his/her hands all over that sofa. You wife’s patience will be tested then for sure.
A simple solution would be to hang the bike higher and out of reach.
