  1. when i was younger i used to ride with all kinds of weather, rain,no rain, wind…and there was no Disc brakes in road bikes, all my 5 bikes are still rim brakes and the simplicity of changing wheels and brake pads etc is very simple,my mountain bike is disc brake, wich is fine, but my Cube Agree with dual mount rim brakes stops just fine.

  2. The biggest difference between disk breaks and rim breaks is. with disk breaks you can have no pads. and still have breaking power. with rim breaks. and no pads left. You have zero breaking power. I nearly died with rim breaks. so i will never have them again.

  3. To the bike industry.. don’t tell me how to think. Oh and in all of my 15 plus years of riding rim brakes I’ve never been in a position where I’ve thought ‘oh that was a bit close if only I’d have had discs’

  4. I had a disc brake bike out of curiosity sold it within the year looks ugly needed special bleed kit . complete scam how people are convinced they are better L don't know. The power of marketing and gullible public.
