thoughts on the rig i’m picking up tomorrow?
found it in the local buy and sell. anything i should look out for? or anything in particular i should ask the seller before purchasing? getting back into biking so i don’t know much but i figured it was a pretty good deal for what im looking to spend/what im looking for. it’s a fitbikeco with cult forks, handlebars and seat. any thoughts? any help would be greatly appreciated! i’ve always been a skater but i bmx’d a bit as a kid and im trying to be barspinning again 😄

Just see if it feels good when you get on it
I actually just bought my first bmx a couple days ago (As i’ve been a hardcore XC mtb rider and wanted to branch out a little) second hand off marketplace from an older gentleman. Things i looked for: Made sure all welds were in good shape, made sure there wasn’t any frame bends, checked the hub made sure it worked properly, made sure nothing was loose (Headset, crank, wheels, stem, everything) Finally i rode it then bought it.
I do this for EVERY bike i buy, road bike, mtb, etc. Been building out my fleet.

Edit: Forgot to mention that the only thing “wrong” with it was that the brake pads are worn down but that’s just a $10 fix.
