π€« WEβVE KEPT THIS FILM A SECRETβ¦ UNTIL NOW!
π₯ 60LB+ UK COMMON CARP β CAN THEY CATCH IT?
We head to the home of possibly the biggest common carp in the UK, the beautiful Waterside Fishery in Chesham, Buckinghamshire!
Aptly named the Big Common, this colossal beast achieved a top weight of 68lb back in May 2024 and is widely regarded as one of the most-coveted open-access carp in the country, so there was little wonder Lee βMozzaβ Morris and big-carp hunter, Simon Crow, jumped at the opportunity when the venue became available!
Mozza has been targeting a 60lb-plus common carp since his capture of the Lord of the Manor at 60lb 5oz in February 2023, with the Big Common at the very top of his target list, so as you can imagine, he is buzzing with anticipation. π
But the question is, can the boys catch it? π§
Over the course of the film, Mozza and Crowy talk us through their approach to targeting big carp in general, and how they feel they can single out this particular fish and potentially earn themselves a place in the record books!
With so many crayfish π¦ present within the lake, the lads have a problem to overcome and, with so much at stake, they canβt afford to get it wrong. With plastic baits banned at Waterside, how will they get around it and potentially get through to the Big Common?
Tune into DNA Digital TV from 7pm on Friday, 29th November, to find out!
If you canβt wait until then, weβll be premiering the film from 6pm that night, giving you exclusive access.

Simons one of my favourite anglers
i like this film it's a real one. got the sub and will have a look at your products! thanks guys
Great video! The owners should sort these crayfish out though. Donβt want to be negative but just seems poor if they are that much of a problem!
Mozza what size frontier u using buddy
A catapult a bucket of floaters would have done it get em going it easy
Fishing bait boats on puddles that you can cast to is a piss take,
Why don't you teach Anglers to cast instead, bait boats should be banned on waters less than 15 acres
When do those light up dumpy bobbins come out lee,I saw them
I've no idea why he never used dog biscuits as a carper i always had them in my bag

This is not Carp fishing I'm afraid.
Zero watercraft skill involved
Does anybody really care carp fishing is the lowest form of fishing
Thereβs an authenticity about Simon Crowe that really comes across in films like this. A genuine bloke
Imagine having cray issues & banning plastic baits.
isn't the common at old mill birch lake bigger than this?
what reeks you using pal
Never seen anyone swap the rod over to their left hand to use their right to hold the net and then have to swap again when the fish isn't netted, really really odd.
What a plonker lee is, everything wrong with the new gen carp angler prime example
With krays i fish in the middle at night they don't like to travel to far from their burrows, thays why croweys rod in the middle still had a bait on
Nice video, but the music really did my head in
a 60 in that is a fucking joke what has carp fishing come to
