Hi all
Im in a bit of a pickle with my second hand electric 6speed c-line. Its almost 3 years old, and a half year in my possession. Since a week i get the x-x-x-x-O blinking errorcode on my battery.
The battery charged at work during the day until full but when i wanted to leave, the blinkinh started. The lights, front and back, still work as well.
Im quite handy and cant afford to mis my bike very long so i immediatly ordered a new front wheel (with motor) to test if this was the issue. I just installed it but the error stayed. My money was on the wheel because i have sometimes experiences some of the issues linked to moisture in the motor. So i anticipated having to replace this somewhere in the coming year. However now it seems this is not the issue, i now ask what do you guys think it is ?

Maybe its the electric cable block thing in the front or the battery, or maybe the electric thing in my pedal axis? I dont know.
I cant miss my bike at the moment so for now im considering just putting in a normal wheel and taping of the electric cabling.

Thanks for your help!

Your first fix was an [$1100](https://us.brompton.com/p/1034/electric-front-wheel-with-hub-motor-and-fixings) wheel!

I love my electric but one of the downsides is that battery issues like this have to go through Brompton or an authorized dealer. The cost shouldn’t be anywhere near $1100 though unless you need to replace the battery (new battery = [$800](https://us.brompton.com/p/732/8.55ah-battery-for-brompton-electric)).
