🤯 my boiler overflow is leaking 🤯
Customer called to say their boiler was leaking outside the wall and the pressure was up at 2.5 bar so they didn’t want to use it until I could take a look, they said even when not using it the leak outside did not stop and it was cold water dripping …
Turned up to this one to find a Worcester Bosch 30i erp sat on the wall…
Because the boiler hadn’t been used and the water dripping was cold it cant be the expansion vessel at fault…
So we’re getting mains pressure into the central heating system, so we need to look at how this is possible…

When it's a worcester overflow leaking I tell the customer I've left a tool in the van then leg it. I guess not all have to come off the wall to get to the parts, but the thought alone scares me😢

Word of advise when doing this. If your changing just the PRV, make sure you have the extra seals for the heat exchange plate. I did not and now water is leaking everywhere. Sleeping tonight with no boiler until the local shop opens so I can buy the seals. 😢
