An old housemate left this bike at our house years ago. They're long gone, but the bike remains. Before we get rid of it, I'm curious as to what the hell you'd actually call this kind of bike? What are those gears called? I know it's probably just an old piece of trash, but it's got my curiosity nonetheless.

If anyone could throw a little info my way, that'd be appreciated!

Thank you for your time.

  1. road bike with stem shifters. from the 70s. could scrap the steel for something. or donate it to a bike cooperative

  2. I have a old univega arrow speed with similar components which is a Leo end bike but this bike is somehow even lower

  3. Name it “The Paradox”. Because, how could this still exist. Also this must have been a MTB because of the stem and the crankset, it has 3 chainrings. Slap a dropbar and 2 safety brake levers and you got your self a “road bike”. Good job room mate
