  1. Yea well when the decathlon gets wet it won't insulate you at all. I owned one. The spendy down jacket can get wet to a point and still keep you warm. I personally have the outdoor vitals nova pro and it's the best jacket I've owned. I really like the hardland down jacket on Amazon too for a budget coat

  2. I love decathlon and their quechua gear. They have a store inside of the Union train station is Toronto. Started buying some of their clothing before realizing exactly what their brand was. I'm hooked now. My quechua hiking thermo pants are amazing! I wear them religiously. I plan on getting lots more. I wish the store sold tents and other gear. So far it's mostly clothing.

  3. First decathlon ski pants, zipper broke first day. Return got credit. Bought snowboard pants. Crouch open up as the stitching fell apart. I sewed it myself
    😅

  4. difference is that my Foraz jacket that i got for 60 euro in france 3 years ago is practically deflated while my girlfriend's JOTT 120euro jacket bought at the same time looks like it's brand new.

  5. As much as I like Decathlon and will spend over $1000 soon on few things, these jackets are not the same. 😂

I’d buy D with my own money, that doesn’t make them the same 😂

  6. Wouldn't know. It's been 2 weeks and still have received no shipping info about my jacket. Sent 3 different emails and was only able to get a reply once that was useless. Was excited to get this jacket too. Customer service is terrible at Decatholon.

  7. I own both jackets and they are not the same, not the same material, not the same weight, not the same quality, the decathlon wets out immediately, I have tried to DWR it and it doe help, but the Ghost whisperer is a far better jacket, especially for stuffing into a pack and the warmth from it. I use the decathlon for dog walking and knocking around so I don't use my ghost whisperer jackets and I can keep them clean and prepped for quality adventures. But yeah, the outdoor industry does think the majority of you are stupid and they aren't wrong, Decathlon has sold a ton of those jackets to people who think they are the same.
