I think those two are pretty good deals, which one is better? The first is a 2017 giant tcr advanced sl with dt Swiss + dura ace, second is 2018 trek emonda sl6 with dt Swiss wheels. I’m pretty new and not sure what the specs really mean, but looking at the specs from 99 spokes and asking AI for assistance these two appears to be pretty good deals. The giant is 1600 and trek is 1250, should I ask for a lower price or are these really good deals as it is? Thanks for the help🙏

By the way the price is in AUD
The Trek is a way better deal (and I would still negotiate the price).
Here’s why: Both are carbon bike frames made with a racing geometry, they’re meant to ride faster.
However, not only is the Trek newer, the groupset is approximately two generations newer than the one on the Giant. The Dura-Ace groupset (derailleurs, crankset, brifters, brakes, etc) on the Giant is still good but it is two decades old (2004). It was the top of the line, flagship groupset but a LONG time ago. The Trek has an newer 2017 Ultegra groupset is a lot more modern and will probably be a lot better for a cheaper price. At the price point of the Trek, it’s a pretty good deal and if you can lower the price, it’s even better.
