I’m new to riding a bike. Was gifted this one from a late relative. Trying to learn how to ride it, but it feels like when I pedal – each rotation has some slack to it, and my foot shoots forward slightly, also causing the noise you can hear in the video. If anyone is able to help me out, I’d greatly appreciate it. Am I possibly just rubbish at pedaling correctly?

Check to see if your cassete is loose (the gears in the rear wheel), if so it needs to be tightened or a spacer added
