    I have two of this exact rack. Seemed solid and reliable for about a year, then started to bend and slouch in threatening way. I think mine came with a short strap to screw the top to the wall, which maybe would have made it more durable (but I didn’t use).

  2. That doesn’t look very sturdy to me. Flimsy would be a word I would use to describe this.

    I have two and have been using them for ~8 years without issue other than the rubber covers trying to migrate off. I’ve never bothered with the safety strap but it’s probably worth the piece of mind if you have small children. 

  4. I use one of these in my apartment and really like it, but it can be knocked over so I probably wouldn’t use it around kids, but it depends how wild they are.

    This doesn’t look that sturdy. I have a similar type from Thule that is very sturdy (and I have kids). Only thing is that I’m pretty short (161cm) and my bikes just barely (sort of) fit on the rack.
