I’m a newbie and would like to get into biking this year. I’d mostly be riding around the beaches to start. I know very little about bikes. Any insight is appreciated!
if you want to ride, literally on the sand, you probably want bigger tires. For an all round bike, that’s a pretty good deal for 160. That frame is for a pretty small person, so you probably want to be no more than a few inches over 5 feet tall if you buy that one

get a SINGLE SPEED. sand messes with shifters.
either a traditional 26″ beach cruiser. or if u wanna be extra cool, get a fat tire 29er
and if you intend to stay off the actual beach, maybe even a single speed “gravel” bike with 35-40mm tires
but if u wanna splurge($379), this one is pretty sweet:
