These are great payouts but make sure you have a great tax person because if you make a certain amount trust me you could owe 20k in taxes like nothing plus maintenance etc
Thats crazy! In Kyrgyzstan I took a Yandex (Uber) about the same distance for $75US. LOL! The driver even stayed in the city and drove me back 2 days later.
5hr ride not in uber, we call it GrabCar. $571 and he tip me $75+2 mcdonalds because we need to stop 5 times, the longest stop is 45 minute for McDonald's and he's meeting his client😂
I rented a SUV to move from cali to oregon and it was $550 but $300 got refunded a couple days after returning the car. Not sure why they wouldn't go that route
Damn the most I've ever "paid" for a taxi was 150 CAD because I was at an event in Toronto and all the trains stopped running at 1am and I needed to get an hour out of the city. Thankfully the venue handed out taxi vouchers but the cab driver made a big scene about accepting the ride and had to call his customer service line to confirm it was a legit voucher 💀
Back in the 1980's work sent me in a London cab to deliver a special secure printer that has to be accompanied. It was a 9hr round trip and after we'd dropped off the printer we stopped for lunch, leaving the meter on the cab running. I don't remember the amount, but it would have been well over the equivalent of a thousand dollars now. Possibly double that. The cabbie was a very happy man that day!

What's the most Uber has paid you for a ride?
Is your model 3 still on premier ?
What about the gas?
During the peak of the pandemic a guy told me he drove someone from LAX to a city near the Bay Area, forgot which one. But basically a 5 hour ride.
580 dollars for a 6 hour day ain’t bad at all
Pay is ok, but I definitely would have converted this guy and handed him a card lol. If they are paying you $428 they charged him $700 or more

For that price get a plane ticket

1.93 per mile ( assuming you had to drive back) pretty good. My min is 50 cents a mile but I try to stay at 1$ a mile
I do this drive twice weekly for free ;-;
Anything but build a train
Most I ever done for a ride is $60 in Texas & it pissed me off because part of that was tip so ended up only getting $49..
has to be a good reason for him not taking a plane or train for a fraction of the cost
Im taking a greyhound for $60 before doing that to some poor sap
I did a 200 mile one way trip for 140$. Thry tipped 50$ so i drove 400 miles total for 190$
How much do you think uber made out of this ride
Seems a lot, but I paid 260$ just to get to JFK from Manhattan during peak.
But how much does Uber get then?
Wow
Nope…. Female thought I'll take her to New York from Atlanta dropped her off in South Carolina once the app kicked me off I only made 300 tho
