I hate to admit it, but e-bikes. I have an ebike that I use to get from point a to b. I have a Specialized Turbo Vado. Its purely for transportation. I use it get to get work, I use it to get to the store, I use it to visit friends. I have a car and before my ebike, those bikes were rarely used for transportation.. mostly for fitness or sport. My ebike took me back to my days before driving and adult responsibility where I used my bike to get everywhere. I find reasons to ride my ebike instead of excuses to drive. I still have other bikes but I use my ebike the most since it gets me to where I already need to go.

Anything single speed. I grew up riding bmx, but trying multi great road bikes and MTB never impressed me. Then I found single speeds of both versions and I love biking again

I have had so many high end but keep going back to old school GT. Picked this up today. E
Now that I own a gravel-specific frame, the answer has to be gravel. My new bike is faster than my road bike on the roads and more fun on all surfaces without question. No limits, or almost no limits. A gravel bike is a good choice for bikepacking and touring as well.

I think track bikes are absolutely beautiful and simple we should have climb assisted bike lanes everywhere is not flat. Their timeless simplicity is just sexy

Classic, Mid Century-ish rando bike. They just look classy. Older cross bikes are a second.
The one i just got (well 4 months ago).
CX bike, Ti frame, came with cantis, but amazingly also had mounts for disc, so now has dual piston manual brakes, with jagwire housing, and a 1x sword drivetrain, with a mtb crankset.
Shes a beat. Didnt even know what CX was till i got it, and now im so convinced its the best bike for like 90% of people (not inc mtb’ers)
