Bunny hopping has plenty of advantages in cyclocross; it can save your legs, as you won’t have to run, you can attack through the hurdles while others run, and, you can also use your skill to gain an advantage through other sections like roots and ruts.
Tom Meeusen is a world cup winner and one of the most skilful riders on the pro ‘cross circuit. He took us through the process of clearing the hurdles and described how he’s able to use it to his advantage in races.

The brick likes this guy so much, he copied his name and his bike

He's got clip in pedals! That's just jumping with a bike stuck to you.
lastie at 0.25secs "paint me like one of your french girls Tom Meeusen"

Interesting where they put their hands. Do you not actually have to pull your legs up much? There wasn't a lot of emphasis on that part.
Holy shit. I cant bunnyhop that high on my mountainbike.
did Tom lower his saddle for this event?
This is the best move I've ever seen! Tom Meeusen is very good!
I can bunnyhop with my bmx but it feels totally different and more difficult with those bike with 700c wheels and road-inspired frame geometry.
With the possible exception of Zdenek Stybar (if he counts still), Tom Meeusen is the coolest dude in 'cross.
I think I'll stick to csgo
Where is that
0:24 Jack draw me like one of your french girl
Once you add clipless peadlas to the equasion like most riders, bunny hops become a breeze and are just so easy to learn and get higher.
Entertaining but not very instructional……
Deym he's bunny hop is higher than mine lmao and im a mountain biker
He is bunnyhopping as high as I can do with BMX. OMG.
I bunny hopped my bike. Now the fork is bent 😭
Seeing Tom bunny hop over half a meter makes me hopeful that I can someday learn to hop a curb with my ancient heavy touring bike!
