Is a 2001 bike considered vintage yet?

Picked this up at Play It Again Sports yesterday. It’s a bit dirty and ratty but I expect will clean up nicely. I got them down to $75 because the fork needs rebuilding/servicing, and the grime on the parts allowed me to convince them that no one else would want it, which actually could be true since most people aren’t into old bikes that need work.. Fortunately I have a nice vintage Fox fork and a Marzocchi Bomber fork that I can use instead. I have a donor bike that has all the parts I will need to make this a great vintage trail bike.
