as long as it’s not a high-pressure nozzle (or if it is and you keep the high pressure nozzle far enough away from the bike) this isn’t an issue at all

Is this a crime? Have I been a bike criminal all this time? Oh God, I’m too pretty to go to bike jail.

It’ll be fine. Just don’t point it directly where moving parts meet (e.g. top of suspension forks, wheel hub, headset, bottom bracket) as you don’t want to force water and debris into these areas that are generally greased and sealed. Give the bike a light hose down first to remove grit and other nasties that might cause scratches.

What’s the crime? The kickstand?

I used to think people were exaggerating when they’d say don’t spray high pressure near moving parts on your bike.
Now I know how to refurbish bearings

My friend sets his bike upside down on the ground and proceeded to house it down. Next day he was at the bike shop getting headset replaced. ☹️

If that’s the Muc-Off washer you’ll be fine, that nozzle was designed for the lower pressures to wash bikes safely

Hand apply a base layer of Turtle Wax Ice Seal and Shine topped with a couple layers of Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax. Use a Ryobi 1800 psi 1.2 gallon per minute pressure washer or similar. Always keep the spray gun nozzle at least three feet away from bike. Keep it further away when spraying near anywhere that has bearings. The water beads up and the dirt slides right off. If needed, presoak with a snow foam layer of Meguiars Ultimate car wash. There are no waxes, drying agents or other nasty stuff in that soap that may damage your bikes. Just pure, clean, professional detailer grade auto soap. A well used clean bike is a happy bike.

A pressure washing is a slap on the wrist compared to the other crimes committed.

No crime committed that’s why Muc-Off made that pw 😉
