I have a 1973 Schwinn Paramount track bike, restomod and it’s dope AF.
It fits 32mm measured tires, it have 74/74 geometry, I had modern touch points and pedals, and although it’s not my quickest bikes it certainly one of my most comfortable and it’s racy and responsive with a modern wheelset. If I wanted to add a modern, outboard BB crankset, it’d be even better.
I think anyone riding gatorskins or any other stuff sidewall tires on fixed gear in 2025 is worse. This is rage bait for sure on a sub full of poor bike fits, poor gearing, poor mechanics, looks before function, and a bunch of other stuff that is very commonplace.
