  1. I had two that kept getting repeat punctures needing plugs etc, glad I’ve moved on. A year into tufo thundero and haven’t had to use a plug.

  2. Panaracer makes great tires, seriously. Try their Pasela PT tires next time, they’re cheaper and better for commuting overall (not sure if they’re tubeless compatible though)

But yeah, you can never go wrong with Panaracer

  3. Cool. I gave up after 2500km. 48x650b. Was getting tired of plugging holes. No real wear while using them. Another annoying thing about them was the side lugs. I found that they’d dig in and gave an unstable feel. Mainly on road though. Pretty light and fast. Should have tried the puncture protection version. Rocking Michelin Power Adventure Gravel now. Not as fast but feel way more solid and don’t spray water at my feet.

  4. I was a little skeptical on the durability of these, but they’ve turned out to be the best tires I’ve tried.

  5. Efficient-Celery8640 on

I ride that as my back tire, I love it. I did have a puncture but sealant plugged it with no issues in the aftermath

  6. I have the same tires on my commuter in 32 mm. Quite comfy compared to other 32c I’ve had. I’m considering 35 or 38s when they wear out.

  7. My SS+ with tubes made 5000km, which included the Race Around Rwanda and a bikepacking trip through Morocco. Only 2 punctures. I adore them
