Buy and build that frame/ bike you’ve been eyeing up on Marketplace (It’s worth it)😍

Just finished one of my dream builds 🤩 1995 GT Karakoram in Reynolds 525 tubing. Bought the bare frame for 90€ on facebook marketplace .
The bottom bracket thread was damaged but managed to rethread it.
Part list includes and Atelier medium butted forks , long (110mm) stem, Fairdale V2 Cruiser bar , Shimano hubs laced to a DT swiss x430 , iiipro E4 front disc brake , Ergotec seat post and an oldschool WTB saddle.
Total cost estimated around 600€ , the only (new) bikes ‘round here that go for that price are BTwin/Rockrider branded 😅
Haven’t weighed it yet put it feels like it could be around the 11kg mark wich would make it my lightest so far.
Rides extremely smooth , cornering feels good at high speeds cause of the long stem.
Adding some smoother tires cause this bike is gonna be used as a commuter/concrete touring bike mostly !
Use this a motivation to buy that old fb marketplace or Ebay frame you’ve been wanting to get and make a sweet ride out of it ! It won’t dissappoint !
