Beautiful Carlton workshop bicycle – definitely old, but still a great ride even by todays standards.

Iconic classic. Who modified the rear derailleur for you? And how does it shift?

Wonderful bike! Well preserved. Drilled out brake levers and chain rings! Classic! The saddle is classic too but those rivets look so comfortable. Nice ride. Enjoy!

Pretty! I rode a similar vintage Raleigh Pro, just a test ride, it belonged to a friend, it was glorious! Drillium (I call it Perforillium) was such a ‘thing’ back then, so funny to see it after all these decades.
This bike could still be giving joy to its rider after every carbon fiber bike ever made is rotting in a land fill.

I have a 1977 Raleigh Competition GS, I can’t post a pic of it, weird.
Anyway’s it’s in excellent condition for it’s age. I did take off the Campy GS derailleurs because they were not shifting as good as what I was use to, so I put on a set of 1977 Campy Nuovo Record, that lead me to take the original Dia Comp Carrera brakes off and put on Campy brakes from 77 as well. It worked a lot better in the shifting department after the swap, I still have the original GS components and the brakes.
