Great resources for a first-time bike build?

Hi folks, I’ve been collecting parts for a while, doing the basic structural assembly, and think I’m finally ready to finish building this Soma Jawbone.

This is my first time building a bike from the frame up, so the prospect of assembling and setting up the drivetrain and hydraulic brakes (Shimano GRX-RX400 for both) is feeling daunting. I’ve been reading the RX400 users/assembly manuals but even those feel a little impenetrable for a first timer.

Any recommendations for resources (video or written) for bike assembly? I’m just worried I’ll fuck it up and land myself in an expensive hole, but I really want to do the process myself. I want this to be my bikepacking bike and want to be comfortable enough with the mechanics to handle as much trailside repair as I can.
