I bought it in 2010 for ~1,400. It has SRAM Rival components which are working fine.

Unfortunately, it's not valuable enough to be a trade-in, and I will get hosed taking it to my local play-it-again sports. Would love recommendations on how to sell.

I don't have any experience selling used bikes but want to offload this quickly since my new bike (a Pinarello X1 205) arrives next week. All of the Garmin stuff will move to the new bike

  1. Typo.. should say Pinarello X1 *105*

Also curious how much of an upgrade the new bike will be over this one? I figure 15 years of bicycle innovation will be pretty noticeable… I have always wanted a road bike that feels stupidly light, so I am hoping the full carbon frame of the X1 will have that wow factor, but I bought it online without trying it first since it was on sale.

That’s a nice bike. The challenge with selling a bike you’ve had for awhile is that it’s worth more to you than the money you’d get. It’s worth $400 probably. Or at least that’s what someone might pay. But it’s an older bike with older, well worn parts. Good luck, enjoy the new bike.
