Hi guys I’ve been looking at a few mountain bikes and have rounded them down to two main options just wondered if someone could analyse their tech (specifically if the suspension is proper or simply a gimmick) to see which is the highest quality. My choices are

I understand these are pretty low quality bikes but my parents refuse to purchase second hand things for some reason and my budgets pretty tight. So if someone could please tell me which is better it’d be a godsend

Yo, if this is your price range, have a look at the Reid MTB Pro, comes with disc brakes etc. Will be a good starter bike and they’re an Australian company too.

I would avoid pro gear. Tip its dog shit.
I would avoid anything from anaconda. Tip its dog shit and their staff arent bike mechanics.
They’re both horrible but if i had to chose 1 itd be the surge hardtail as the other one is gripshift 🤢
Honestly though id wait,save a few more pennies to buy a better bike
