Hey guys I am planning on upgrading my giant escape 3 from 37 to 39 set up. Currently it's running a tourney groupset. My question is can I interchange the parts? Like a alivio cassette plus cues derailleur and shifter plus a 9 speed chain? I will provide the picture of the parts I am planning to change with. Do I need anything else or are these parts enough for the upgrade?

If it’s 7 speed it will have a freewheel not a freehub. The two are not compatible – the cassette won’t fit.

Not these two specifically – cues casettes have different cogs spacings, so they’ll only work with cues shifters (which only work with cues derailleurs) and vice-versa. You can’t mix cues and non-cues. The casettte you included with your post is a cues one (says LG on it, for LinkGlide), so it’s all good.
The freewheel is a potential problem, but solvable – depending on how commited you are. Either swap the rear wheel as well, or rebuild the wheel with a new hub. Everyone will tell you that the latter doesn’t make any sense, but I found it quite fun and a lot cheaper.
