I’ve very new to cycling. Did a sprint tri and now I know I to want to invest. I found this bike on Facebook marketplace. How much would you estimate it’s worth?
Seller didn’t give many details and I’m very unfamiliar with what kind of questions I should ask the seller or things to look for when I go see it in person.

it’s the last generation of american made AL cannondales. I’d say 300 is a good deal and 500 is fair. 700 is a bit optimistic, unless it’s got some killer components. stiff- good power transfer but you’ll want to find a perfect tire pressure to soak up the vibrations a bit.
Anything less than 600 is good, you could probably part it out for $500
I wouldn’t pay over $400 for this. While the CAAD series is exceptional, this bike is easily 15 years old with mediocre components. Cannondale stopped making frames in the US in 2009.
It will perform well and is a great first road bike.
