Hello hello! I’m looking to get rid of this 25mm 3D headset cup on this Argon 18 Gallium CS (it’s the pressfit version, not the old threaded one)
As far as I can deduce from the manual, the bearing just drops right into the frame if no 3D cup is used, but how would you all go about removing it? I’d be curious if a pressfit bb removal tool would work, but if anyone has done this procedure before, that’d obviously be better!

You’ll need to uncouple the brakes running through the bearings first. Bearings should pop out with thin bladed screwdriver if you don’t have the dedicated tools (bearing puller). They’ll need to be bled if hydraulic. This is a job worth paying for.
