I say the EXACT SAME THING! Then they have the audacity to complain about their food being cold. Uh yea! Ya think? But in the end, the driver gets the thumbs down and bad ratings for it all. I don't accept anything over 5 miles unless the price is right.
This is why i do uber and lyft driver but i recently noticed this year the rates are awful unless you go doing surges or bonus hours. They are forcing you to work certain times they only want and cant cancel anything or you get deactivated so just have to accept everything unfortunately
I honestly stopped doing uber eats I would drive for about 20 miles for about $5 all the way across Houston then the customer never tips I get more tips from the lower orders delivering to the wealthy they hardly ever tip.
Like idk how to get help at this point lol I want to throw a tantrum lol it’s disrespectful. The pay, and the fact that they can order from that far away.
Uber eats is going out of business. Plus people dont appreciate the hard work of the drivers an say " lay it on the front door" can't even get it hands off-
Its kids in Highschool who don't understand costs, they think they are making 15hr, they obviously don't realize the costs. It costs $0.50 mile (wear & tear and/or depreciation) Then it costs gas and tolls (some of the money they add is to reimburse the tolls, so you didn't actually make $15). So if your only making $15 per hour of driving, you are actually paying Uber to allow you to drive for them.
They are expecting the illegal immigrants to pick up those orders. We would have livable wage on DD if they weren’t all living off these delivery apps
Just like pizza joints who deliver their own pizzas, there should be a maximum delivery distance from restaurants. If customers can't get their Philly cheesesteak because they live too far out, they need to look for something else instead closer to home.
I believe that they're trying to force us to take the low paying jobs, but they're only hurting themselves by trying to punish the people who are delivering. People are smarter than that.
Uber give you this kind of deal means telling you to quit the job, who wants to do lose money business, anything less than a dollar per mile you lose money
There should be a minium $5 tip, ive seen $2 orders for 20 miles. And dd is the worst. If you dont accept some of them they eventually kick you off the app. They suck so bad.
Migrants from 3rd world countries would die for these wages. What a concept right? and they literally are dying for these wages… even less than what you're presenting… Gotta love the first world
ALL delivery companies NEED to have a MINIMUM $ DOLLAR order from ALL customers to use their services! I just started uber eats and dd about a month ago and 90 % of all orders are REDICULOUSLY CHEAP orders! They DON'T PAY ANYTHING! The ONLY way this will change us "IF" these companies start LOOSING PROFIT! Oxford,, Alabama area.

Seriously
There is an abundance of new drivers that most likely are taking these orders! The plataform is over saturated with new inexperienced drivers!
It's been like this for a while and it's absolutely ridiculous

That's the problem, no-one is doing it. If you are logged in you likely the only one
DoorDash and Uber eats are stepping over the line

Doordash sent me $2 offers yesterday a few times..some $3.50 for 2.5 miles..
$7 for 8 miles…$12 for 13 miles…hell no.
I declined orders for 5 hrs and only made $24 that day.

That’s what I get around where I live! It’s insane! How are you sending me 35 minutes away for 5$ 7$ dollars

Theyre missing a digit. 🤷
😂 that’s ridiculous!!!!
Open borders , Venezuela taking them with no problem

I saw the same last week. It happened after an app update. There were almost no individual orders.

They should limit the requests that aren't offering at least $1 per mile. That would be a start.

Also not paying tolls and can't get answers!!
Its been like this in memphis! I wonder who is doing them because I would let them disappear off my screen. im not doing it
uber and doordash want be around if they keep this up. its not worth your time or the wear and tear on your vehicle
Life sucks
Pure trash
