I think of all the characters in the YS show, Georgie was the one whose story was the biggest surprise. In the BBT, he was not well fleshed out and Sheldon made him out to be a buffoon. Jerry O'Connell's portrayal made him a more real person. But here, he is shown to be hard working, kind, considerate, and loving. Yeah, he isn't the genius Sheldon is, but he has something else that is more important. He is a nice guy who is trying to do the best he can. So many people out there just don't try.
