I bought a new Speedmax and scratched the paint while improperly mounting the rear wheel. It seems to be just a paint damage. Should I leave it as it is since it will probably look like this after a few months anyway? Or should I have it repaired? With my aluminum bikes, which cost half as much, it didn’t bother me as much.

This area will scratch up anyway due to on and off with the wheel when cleaning etc. I wouldn’t bother repair that. Go out and ride your bike!
Just buy 3in1 polish paste if it bothers you that much.
Fwiw i did the same thing back in 2022 when I bought a speedmax, it extremely bothered me as well.
Just ignore it, it’s an area that will lose the paint eventually anyway, you haven’t done any actual damage.
Definitely don’t worry about that. You are eventually going to manage to scratch the paint with the disc rotor anyways. You bought the bike to pound on it. Go do that.
Also be thankful you don’t have an earlier model year like I do with a cracked steerer.
Thanks guys, feeling much better now 🙂
