Hello! New to this sub. Used to ride 20 years ago and had this bike in storage for about 15 years. It was a shit tip out of storage, but I stripped the paint, sprayed it and added (non-original) decals. It’s 4130 chromoly and was very decent when new in 2002. Had some guy on FB say it’s not mid-school and ain’t worth shit. Couple of scrapes on the inside of the seatstays from my shit sanding, but otherwise in great condition. I put it on for £55. Am I asking too much for this? Got arthritis now, can’t ride and need the cash.

It’s mid, and tbh assuming it’s genuinely 4130 then £55 isn’t insane at all. However commencal wasn’t a popular brand at all in the uk, so many won’t have heard of it, and those that have it won’t exactly rank up there as a desirable frame to rebuild or collect unfortunately.
