Just looking for a bit of help sizing wise. I currently have a Grizl that’s a size XL that I feel is a bit big for me. 6’4” 35” inseam. Grizl size chart put me firmly in the XL size range but on the Grail chart I have some overlap. Should I size down to a L?

Yes. Inseam is the more important factor here.
I would highly recommend the L in your case. I find the inseam fit (within the square) much more important than height for canyon bikes. Given you’re basically in the middle of the large for inseam and right at the start for xl i would definitely take the large.
In general I find their recommendations better than most brands but they are still like ~0.3 of a size too big.
