I have a Whyte E-505 and was told it complies to EPAC, one of these requirements is that the motor must be 250w or less.
At this link it's listed as 600w.

At Whyte's own site the wattage is not listed, however other sites show it as 250w.

250W continous to comply with EPAC regulations. 600W peak performance which does not say much since it allows a grey area between continous and peak
